Karen's Downtown Disney Resorts FAQ

Stay right in the magic at one of the seven Official Hotels of WDW. Perfectly located right inside the WDW Resort, each of these hotels offer guests all the same quality and service the name "Disney" implies. Best of all, you are very near the shopping, dining and entertainment of Downtown Disney's Marketplace, West Side and Pleasure Island.

Though none of the Downtown Disney Hotels offer the theming found at the Disney owned resorts, there are some wonderful advantages to staying here. First and foremost, are the great specials that are not available elsewhere on property. Each of these hotels offer discounted rooms even at peak times and values can be superb. Many times the cost of the room per night will also include breakfast. Room availability is usually good, so these hotels are a desirable option for those making a last minute trip or if you are just unable to find a vacancy at a Disney resort. Each hotel offers individual packages with passes that can be exceptional deals.

If you are planning to visit some of the Orlando area's other attractions, guest services at these hotels can provide you with both tickets and transportation.

Besides the close proximity to Downtown Disney's Marketplace, these hotels are also conveniently located to Crossroads Shopping Center with shops, a supermarket and restaurants.

Finally, the Downtown Disney Hotels offer stunning views of the Walt Disney World Resort including all of the fireworks shows.

Each Official Walt Disney World Hotel offers:

· Complimentary scheduled transportation to the WDW Theme parks, 2 water parks and Pleasure Island
· Theme park tickets sold on site
· Guaranteed admission to the Disney Theme parks with paid pass even when the parks are full
· Advance tee times at all 5 Disney golf courses
· Advance reservations for Disney dinner shows and theme park restaurants
· Passport to savings with exclusive discounts and special offers on entertainment, shopping and dining
