Disney's Contemporary Resort

One of the original resorts on Walt Disney World property, the Contemporary is a sight to behold.  This 14 story high building offers some spectacular views.  Choose a room in the tower if you want to wake up to see the Magic Kingdom.  The tower also overlooks Bay Lake.  There are two garden wings, and many rooms in these locations offer a view of Bay Lake as well.  The Contemporary is the place to stay for water sport fun!  Choose from water skiing, parasailing, fishing or boating.  A visit to the Contemporary wouldn't be complete without a meal at Disney's most popular character dining venue, Chef Mickey's.  Open for breakfast and dinner, Chef Mickey's is a wonderful choice for birthday celebrations.   Perhaps you'd prefer a more upscale meal.  You're in luck!  Try the Concourse Steakhouse or the infamous California Grill.  Of course, the monorail is just an escalator ride away, ready to whisk you off to a number of locations.  If you can't wait for the monorail, there is a short walking path to the Magic Kingdom.  The Contemporary is as close to "the magic" as you can get, so start planning your vacation today!
