Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
Located just a hop, skip, and jump from MGM and
EPCOT are two gloriously tropical resorts. The Dolphin is a gorgeous
pyramid shaped building, and both resorts are topped with an enormous
sculpture of the respective animal it was named for. The resorts are
visible from many locations on Disney property and they make quite an
impression. While both resorts appear large, the Swan is actually the
smaller of the two, offering a more intimate environment. The Dolphin boasts
a grand lobby and is more spread out. Each resort has a large Olympic style
pool. Not far from the Dolphin is the relaxing Grotto pool, featuring
waterfalls, waterslides, hot tubs and water volleyball. Golfing fun is
nearby at the popular Fantasia Gardens miniature golf. You'll never go
hungry with all the dining selections between these two resorts. Order a
fabulous steak at Shula's Steakhouse, try the sushi at Kimono's and stick
around for the karaoke, or head to Palios for the finest Italian cuisine.
